Arcadia Pony Baseball operates the Snack Shack out of Camino Grove Park. The Snack Shack provides food, such as hot dogs, nachos, and candies, as well as drinks, such as Gatorade and sodas, for players, families, and other fans attending games. The league depends on funds from the Snack Shack to help cover expenses from field and team equipment, as well as to help keep registration costs low.

The Snack Shack Committee oversees operations at the Snack Shack, led by Snack Shack Coordinator Nycole Chavis. However, the league depends on family volunteers to keep the Snack Shack open for every weekend game.

Spring 2025 Snack Shack Deposit

It is mandatory for each family to work two 1-hour shifts during the season. Upon completion, the family will receive a refund of $100 for the deposit collected at registration. Shifts can be worked by parents, family members, or close friends of the player registered. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, any volunteer under the age of 18 must have parental consent.

Players in divisions that do not play at Camino Grove Park are exempt from volunteer service. These include Bronco (12U) and Pony (14U). The $100 Snack Shack Deposit will be refunded by January 15, 2025, or within two weeks of when registration closes, for players in these divisions.

Opening Day, Closing Day, and Field Days

Arcadia Pony Baseball depends on volunteers to help prepare for the Opening Day and Closing Day festivities and to help prepare the fields for the season. Volunteering for these events may include preparation meetings, decorating, moving equipment, ordering or picking up food or drinks, cleaning up, or other similar tasks. Volunteering on Field Day includes removing weeds, moving dirt or grass, dragging fields, organizing equipment rooms, or other similar tasks.

Opening Day, Closing Day, and Field Day Volunteer may qualify to receive credit for a 1-hour shift at the Snack Shack.

Payments for Snack Shack Service

Payments for working at the Snack Shack will be provided within 3 days of the second 1-hour service.
