When we started Arcadia Pony two short years ago, we never could have anticipated our current success. Far beyond mere wins and losses, Arcadia Pony has quickly become part of the greater San Gabriel Valley community. Today, we bring together families from all over the region to learn, to play, and to love REAL baseball.  

As you reflect on our season, it’s my hope you do so with great fondness and joy. Writing this message though, I find it hard to articulate how I feel about our board members and coaches and those who made this season an incredible success.  They are true leaders.  These volunteers provide for you and your children the wholesome, supervised activity and believe in the value of youth programs such as ours, guided by a PONY baseball philosophy, “Protect Our Nations Youth”.

To our community partners, who without them we would be without fields to play on.  The County of Los Angeles, we thank them for their continued support of our program and look forward to many more seasons of success at County Park of Arcadia.  Our supporters within the City of Arcadia, Mayor Paul P. Cheng, Council Member Michael Cao, Council Member Sharon Kwan, and Council Member Eileen Wang, and we certainly cannot be where we are without the Arcadia Recreation & Community Services, Parks and Facilities team of Emily Buchanan and Candice Cheung. 

The pictures on the website, Social media, through our yearbook, these moments captured in time, these slices of fun and candid silliness, remind us of that little time we have to enjoy them.  As parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or family friends, you have made a difference in their lives by supporting them this season with what you do to get them here.  From practices to game day, from strikeouts to home runs, from double-plays to amazing plays these children have given it their all and we can’t wait to see them do it all again next season!

Thank you, everyone, so much for choosing the Arcadia Pony Baseball program this season.  A season filled with wins & learning experiences, but more importantly teamwork and bonding.  Have a wonderful summer and look out for our fall ball program.
