Who can play Mashpee Rec Soccer?
Mashpee Youth Soccer (MYS) Rec Soccer is open to children in rising grades K-6 from Mashpee and surrounding towns who want to build their soccer skills through weekly practices and scrimmages. Prior soccer experience is not required.

How much does it cost to participate?
The cost to play is $75. A team t-shirt is included in the cost.  Financial assistance is available. We are committed to making the club affordable to all players.  No player will be excluded from participation due to financial constraints. We thank and appreciate the generous sponsors from our community to help keep the cost of the program affordable.  

What does my child need to practice?
All participants in the program must wear cleats and shin guards. We have a large collection of old cleats if you need help. 

When are practices?
Practices are held on Saturday mornings at Heritage Park in Mashpee, located on Rt. 130. The program usually begins the second Saturday in September.

How long does the program run?
Rec soccer runs from early September, to late October. 

Who are the MYS Rec coaches?
Coaches are volunteers, consisting of parents and MMHS Boys and Girls Varsity Players, who graciously devote their time and energy to their team.  All adult coaches are CORI’d and all coaches undergo a training. For the 2024 Fall Season, we are collaborating with  AC Independence (a Cape-based club soccer team) to help guide our developmental soccer program. 

How can I, as a parent or guardian, get involved?
