The reason for the first change is in regard to the second/third.  As many of you have come to learn, I have transitioned to a new role in the Seton Collaborative focusing on Diocese-wide IT and school finance.  Additionally, the Board of Directors of Seton voted unanimously to adopt the SSAA into the Seton Collaborative as was part of the strategic plan for the Diocese for schools.  What does that mean for you this year?  All registration fees go to Seton.  Everything will still flow to the “Commissioner” (currently me) OR policy-related items will go to Dr. Cheeseman.

Next, we have partnered with Coach Bouffard of St. Catherine to take the lead in the operations of St. Sebastian Athletic Association (specifically basketball).  While Coach Bouffard will be taking the lead in operations the final decisions will still rest with the “Commissioner” in consultation with Dr. Cheeseman.

We believe these changes will help us continue to grow and strengthen our programs.
