HSA PLAYER PATHWAYS




Hamden Soccer Association takes pride in offering multiple avenues of development for all of its players. Whether you are looking for a laid back extracurricular experience, or a more rigorous training regimen, HSA has a program that matches your needs. Our HSA Player Pathways are simply a tool to help parents make informed decisions during the registrations process.

Recreational: Our recreational pathway is a staple of our program, and provides playing opportunities to players at all ages and abilities. For players who are new to the sport or are just looking for a way to stay active and have some fun, our recreational pathway is an excellent option. 

Development: HSA's development pathway provides exciting opportunities for players who excel at the sport. Developmental programs (such as Academy and Travel Comp) are run by our licensed coach staff, who will introduce new team and individual concepts during practice sessions. Teams within the development pathway will compete against a higher caliber of competition, both in practices and in games. 

Performance: The performance pathway is a brand new element of HSA that will allow players to explore their skill relative to the best competition Connecticut has to offer. As it stands, players who feel they are prepared to commit to the sport full-time have the opportunity to make the leap to the performance pathway by trying out for Ginga CT (offered to all ages, boys and girls) or Hamden United (offered to boys ages 12-18).
