General Registration Information

• Registration occurs online (early-bird discounts apply online only). Details about registration for each division can be found under the Registration Info tab and Available Programs. In-person registrations can be accepted at Tryouts, if necessary.
• After registration, players either need to tryout to be assigned a team or will remain on an existing team roster.
• Tryouts are for new players to Davis County Little League and for players newly entering either the Minors Divisions or Majors Divisions.
  • If you have a returning player that has already been drafted to a team in their respective division they will NOT need to tryout.
  • If you have a player that has not been drafted to their respective division they will need to attend a tryout.

Information About Tryouts and Drafts

Davis County Little League attempts to keep teams together throughout the players’ experience through each division. For example, if your child is drafted onto the Major League Baseball Cubs, unless by unforeseen circumstances, your child will be on the Cubs for the duration of their Major League experience. 

Plan for Tryouts Events and Drafts

• Tryouts will be held at the Mutchler Center. 
• Tryouts for teams are in late March. Exact dates are available on the registration form.
  
• The Majors divisions will tryout on the first scheduled night.
  • Softball registration opens at 5:00 pm, tryouts at 5:30pm.
  • Baseball registration opens at 7:00 pm, tryouts are at 7:30pm.
• Minors divisions will tryout on the second scheduled night.
  
  • Softball registration opens at 5:00 pm, tryouts at 5:30pm.
  • Baseball registration opens at 7:00 pm, tryouts are at 7:30pm.
• Coaches will draft their teams the evening of tryouts.
• Teams will be posted within 24-48 of the completion of the drafts. Players will be contacted by the league and their coaches.
