New this 2024 Cheer Season!!!
Dallastown Cougar Cheerleading will be be starting a flag football cheer program!
Our Cougar football program joined with the YCJFA flag football league last year. Their season will run from March to June. Games will be in the surrounding York County area starting in April. The goal is to have our cheerleaders learn cheers and a short halftime routine during the month of March so we can cheer at April's games.
Ages as of 3/1/2024
6U-5 & 6 year olds
8U-7 & 8 year olds
10U-9 & 10 year olds
12U-11 & 12 year olds
14U-13 & 14 year olds
REQUIRED Registration Fees:
Registration Fee: $65 (Includes Registration, DCA insurance, Facility Rental, game day T-shirt, season sweatshirt & cheer bow)
*Poms: $30 (all new cheerleaders must purchase poms)
Extra Cheer Bow: $15
**Optional Buyout Fee: $30 (or submit the 5 required sponsorship letters) Must be turned in at T-shirt, bow pick up.
**Sponsorship Letters are required to be handed in by ALL cheerleaders (per family) or there is a buyout option of $30 if you do not wish to do the letters. to view the sponsorship letter.
Practices
The Cheerleaders will practice 2 times a week during the months of March and April. Practice may go down to 1 evening per week during the month of May. The place of practice is TBD.
All cheerleaders are to wear the following during practice-
Athletic clothing
White Cheer Shoes- may be purchased at Flying Feet or Amazon.
Hair is to be pulled back into a ponytail
No Jewelry or chewing gum
All cheerleaders should have a cheer bag for their pom poms and water bottle
Games
Games will be on Saturday or Sunday. Depending on our numbers and how many squads we have will determine which day we will cheer that weekend. Ages of cheerleaders will be between the ages of 5-14 as of January 1st, 2024.

Sweatshirt in bag
White no show socks
White cheer shoes
Black athletic Shorts/Skort- find on Amazon or Dicks Sporting goods
