2026 Football Cheerleading (FALL) New GIRLS

DALLASTOWN COUGAR CHEERLEADING
RECREATION FOOTBALL CHEER REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2026 Fall Season will open March 15, 2026 and close May 31, 2026.

The Dallastown Cougar Cheerleading program is made up four different teams. These teams are based off of age and not level of experience.

Smurfs: 9/1/2019 - 8/31/2021
Rinks: 9/1/2017-8/31/2019
Ponies: 9/1/2015-8/31/2017
Midgets: 9/1/2013-8/31/2015

REGISTRATION COSTS ARE $135.00 (Per Cheerleader), PLUS $60.00 MANDATORY FUNDRAISER (Per family) AND MUST BE PROVIDED AT REGISTRATION.
A multifamily member discount is available with $10 off.
All of these will be collected at Registration.

Poms Cost $32.00 and Extra Hair Bows Cost $12.00. Rain Jackets are $10 Ear warmers are $12.These will also need to be purchased at Registration if they are needed.
New Cheerleaders will be given- Rain jacket, Ear warmers and 1 season hair bow.

Families are required to print 12 sponsor letters per family (located on the Registration Forms tab). These will need to be filled out, put into addressed and stamped envelopes and turned in at uniform distribution. DCC will take care of mailing the letters. These will need to be turned in order to receive your uniform. There is a buyout option of $75.00 if you do not want to do the letters. 

MANDATORY PRACTICE FOR ALL LEVELS STARTS AUGUST 3rd THROUGH AUGUST 6th AND AUGUST 10th THROUGH AUGUST 13th FROM 6:00-8:00 P.M. AT ORE VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. SMURFS WILL PRACTICE FROM 6:00-7:30 DURING MANDATORY CHEER. THEREAFTER, PRACTICES ARE MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS FROM 6:00-7:00 P.M. ALL CHEERLEADERS MUST ATTEND BOTH WEEKS.

Regular Cheer practices will be Monday and Thursday. In the month of October we will hold practice to one night a week on Thursday.

Please know Cheer is a commitment. There will be 2 practices a week (after mandatory camp) and games on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Attendance is taken seriously. Missed obligations can result in removal from the program.

Rec Football Cheerleading

Our Recreational Cheerleading program runs from August through November. We have four divisions, teams are broken into groups according to the number of cheerleaders and football teams we have. Please see below for the age breakdown. Our athletes may cheer for a different football team depending upon how many teams we have for the season. 
Practices: mandatory practice will be held at DAIS - we will be moving after mandatory practice to Ore Valley Elementary 
-Mandatory practices (8/4-8/7 and 8/11-8/14) 6-8pm (except Smurfs 6-7:30pm)
-Regular practices will be held on Monday and Thursday once school starts (6-7pm)
-We will drop down to one night a week in October (Thursday practices)

Practices are NOT a drop off event. We ask that a parent/guardian stay incase of inclement weather. 
Parents are to remain behind the cones for the safety of the cheerleaders. 
We ask that parents do not engage while their cheerleader is trying to practice. 
NO photos or videos are allowed to be taken as we need to respect ALL of the cheerleaders. Thank You for understanding.

REQUIRED Registration Fees:

Registration Fee: $135 (Includes Registration, season sweatshirt & cheer bow)
Mandatory Fundraiser (Per Family): $60

  • Navy Blue Bloomers (Purchased at Amazon.com or omni.com)
  • White No-Show Socks
  • Pom Poms (Purchased at Registration)
  • Cheer Bow (Purchased at Registration) We keep this bow for 2 seasons
  • Rain Jacket (Purchased at Registration) *NEW Girls receive FREE
  • Ear Warmers (Purchased at Registration) *NEW Girls receive FREE
  • Season Sweatshirt - FREE to all girls
  • Navy fitted leggings (Not sweatpants) when the weather is cold
  • Navy Gloves
