Epinephrine Pens for Players with Allergies
If your child has a known history of severe allergic reactions—whether to bee stings, nuts, food, or other environmental allergens—we kindly ask that they bring their prescribed epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen or equivalent) to every practice and game. This is essential in the event of an unexpected allergic reaction, as immediate treatment can be life-saving.
Having your child’s epinephrine pen readily available ensures that, in an emergency, appropriate care can be administered without delay.
Please also take a moment to:
- Notify the coaching staff of your child’s specific allergies.
- Label your child’s EpiPen clearly with their name.
- Make sure the device is not expired and is stored in an accessible part of their bag.
Thank you for helping us create a safe and supportive environment for every player. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
