Volunteer Requirement/Unavailability Fee

It takes a village to keep our amazing program running. Our youth board, coaches and families spend many hours volunteering time to keep this program going but additional help is needed We often recruit help from our high school volunteers but they only need so many hours. Beginning in Fall of 2023, Banks Youth Football will be requiring a $50 unavailability fee in registration for those families who wish to not volunteer. Tackle parents who do not wish to volunteer at one of our program events offered (Gear Checkout Days, Home Middle School games, Golf and Cornhole Fundraising Events, 50/50 Raffle Night, Home Youth Jamborees) can pay a $50 fee in lieu of volunteering. This will be referenced briefly in registration and you will be able to choose at that time. At this time, this is a part of Tackle 3rd-8th Grade registrations. While not required, all flag families are more than welcome to help as well. Thank you for all who have always jumped when it was not a requirement, it is appreciated.

For those who wish to volunteer and forgo the $50 unavailability fee, we will be publishing volunteer opportunities soon and there will be more opportunities once we know the middle school football schedule and we are closer to the season. While we would prefer to just have enough help for every event, we understand that it may not work for all. Unavailability funds will be used to pay high schoolers or other youth/school programs looking to raise funds for their programs. 

(A minimum of two adult volunteer hours per player will be required to avoid the unavailability fee).
