Please read our information regarding our baseball divisions below. The information here will help you determine if you are registering your child for the correct age division. The Age Determination Date for a male baseball player is the actual age of the child on August 31 of the current year. Our regular season runs from late March until late May. District all-star tournaments will start in early June and could continue into mid-August if teams are successful in advancing out of local and state tournaments.

Tee Ball is the entry level division for players, ages 4-6. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game.

****We will attempt to have a “coach pitch” division for boys that are league age 5-6 if we have enough requests for this division.  Boys that are league age 5 will need to have played one year of Tee Ball in order to participate in this division.  Please sign up in either the Tee Ball division or the Machine Pitch division and enter the request to move to “coach pitch” in the question that asks if you want your child to play in a different division.  If we do not have enough to sign up requesting the move to “coach pitch”, then your child will remain in Tee Ball or Machine Pitch as initially signed up unless we receive a request for refund in the event you decide not to participate in either one of those divisions.****

Minor League Machine Pitch Baseball Division is for children "player age" 6 through 8 years old. A player who is league-age 6 for this current season AND has played a year in Tee Ball is eligible to participate in the machine pitch division. If your child is player age 9 but has never played baseball before they can play down in the machine pitch division. End of regular season tournament opportunities (TOC-Tournament of Champions) are available for player age 8 and under in this division if our league chooses to participate.

Minor League Player-Pitch Division is for children "player age" 9 through 10 years old. Our local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team ( or "All Stars") at the end of the regular season for players in this division.

Major League Baseball Division is for children "player age" 11 through 12 years old. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Our local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or “All Stars”) from within this division, and the team may enter the International Tournament.

Intermediate Baseball Division is for children "player age" 11 through 13 years old. The diamond used is a 70-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 50 feet. It is likely that 11 through 13 year old boys will play intermediate baseball for the regular season and the league could field a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") in the Majors Division or the Intermediate Division or both divisions. 13 year old boys are not allowed to participate in the Majors division.

Junior Baseball Division is currently for boys "player age" 14. The diamond used is a 90-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 60 feet 6 inches. Player age 13s should sign up for Intermediate and any 13s wanting to play juniors would have to be evaluated further at skills and drills day. It is a considerable change going to the 90-foot diamond for any 13 year old.

**For any post-season tournament play, if your child is selected as an all-star, it should be their expectation that they will play within their "league age" group for all-stars, regardless of which division they may play in regular season.
