Naugatuck Little Pal Spring Basketball Season will begin 3/28/26 with evaluations and run through 6/4/26. Teams will have practices 1x per week starting April 7 and will have 7 regular season games and at least 1 playoff game. Practices before games start will be on either a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 5-7pm or 7-9pm. Games will be played on 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/19, 5/21, 5/26, 6/2 (playoffs) & 6/4 (semi-finals and finals). There will be optional practices once season starts either on Wednesday or Friday at The YMCA, each coach will let their team know once season begins.

The age group is 10 through 14 years old - 5th to 8th graders (1/1/12 through 12/31/16) and is Co-Ed. HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLAY. This league is for EXPERIENCED PLAYERS and teams will be drafted based on age and talent to the best of our ability.

We will play normal 5 v 5 format and games will be played at City Hill Middle School in Naugatuck on 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/19, 5/21, 5/26, 6/2 (playoffs) & 6/4 (semi-finals and finals). These dates are Tuesday and Thursday Nights.

Cost to play will be $150 per player for the season and a team shirt/jersey will be provided. The last 2 weeks of the season will be playoffs and trophies will be given to the league Champions.

ALL PLAYERS are expected to show up for evaluations so we can better form teams. Evaluations will be held at City Hill Middle School - Players that are 10 and 11 years old will have evaluations on Saturday 3/28 from 12:15pm-1pm, Players older than 12 will have evaluations from 1pm-1:45pm also on Saturday 3/28. Once teams are formed, coaches will reach out with practice schedule. Game schedule will be posted on Facebook Group and emailed to all parents once finalized.
