Spring 2014: AA-Jackson Generals < VIDEO INTERVIEW LINK, JUNE 2014 > Fall 2013: Patrick was selected by the Seattle Mariners organization, as a High-A Prospect, to continue his career in the MLB Future Prospects 2013 Arizona Fall Baseball League. He is currently rostered to play on Peoria Javalinas for MLB Fall Baseball, along with other A-/A+/AA/AAA Prospects from Astros, Mariners, Padres, Phillies and KC Royals. In 2013: High-A-League High Desert Mavericks. In 2012, Patrick was selected in the 4th Round of the MLB Baseball Draft by the Seattle Mariners. After starting his MLB career immediately on Short-Season Everett AquaSox he moved up to Low-A-League Clinton LumberKings. Being bored after his 4-year football stint was over he tried-out for Rutgers D1 Baseball, and did well enough in the Big East Conference to grab some well-deserved recognition from MLB. After finishing up his Little League career as a 2006 New York State Champion playing for West Nyack Senior-League All-Stars (15/16 yr olds) Patrick played 4 years of football at Rutgers. And thank you for continuing to be a positive influence, and role model, for our West Nyack Little League families. Patrick completed his Little League career as a 2006 New York State Champion playing for West Nyack Senior-League All-Stars (15/16 yr olds). In 2012, Patrick was selected in the 4th Round of the MLB Baseball Draft by the Seattle Mariners. In 2015, Seattle Mariners traded 3B Patrick Kivlehan to Texas Rangers. In 2015, he was inducted into the West Nyack Little League Hall of Fame. #49 - Patrick Kivlehan: After playing 4 seasons as defensive back for the Rutgers football team, his 1 season playing his senior year on the baseball diamond garnered him Big East Player of the Year honors after batting .392 with 14 home runs, 50 rbi, and 24 stolen bases in 51 games played.
