Toro Youth Baseball (TYB)  is a nonprofit youth organization and a chartered member of Pony Baseball under the rules and regulations set forth by Pony Baseball Incorporated. Toro Youth Baseball is made possible by volunteers, sponsors, and participation fees within the Salinas-Monterey communities.  PONY is a program about “Protecting Our Nation’s Youth.”

Toro Youth Baseball provides a quality instructional program that teaches fundamental skills, tactics, and strategies for the game of baseball. We are committed to supporting the idea that winning games is secondary to molding exceptional citizens.  Our youth will learn valuable life lessons about teamwork, dedication, accountability, and sportsmanship.  We achieve our mission statement by working with our coaches, volunteers, athletes, parents, and officials.  TYB encourages a positive atmosphere by showing support and patience for all athletes and volunteers.
