District 18 Champions

West Nyack Nanuet 12u Allstars won the District 18 championship against the Stony Point 12u All-Stars 12-2.

West Nyack Nanuet fired up the offense in the first inning. An error scored one run for West Nyack Nanuet. West Nyack Nanuet tallied six runs in the third inning.

West Nyack Nanuet batters contributing to the big inning included Luke Fazulak, Luke Peterson, Jesse Rizzo, and Ryan DeSapio who all drove in runs. Luke Fazulak was on the pitcher's mound for West Nyack Nanuet. The righthander allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking zero.

West Nyack Nanuet smacked one home run on the day. Luke Fazulak had a homer in the third inning, his 4th in the tournament.

West Nyack Nanuet moves on to the Section 3 tournament next week in Suffern against District 19.
