Show Your Bear Pride with OGB Cheerleading! Our cheerleaders learn cheers, chants, jumps, dances and stunts that they perform at our football games and special community events.

Cheer Practice Cheer practices begin August 1, 2022 and are held three nights a week. Once school is in session, Flag Cheerleaders will move to two nights a week. Practice nights are designated based on the availability of assigned Head Coach but are typically held during the evenings of Monday – Thursday. All practices are held locally at the school fields or gyms.
Games We cheer at all of the OGB home and away football games, which are located in the Chester and Delaware County areas. Our regular season games begin in early September and run through end of October. If your squad’s team makes the playoffs, you may cheer at some post season games in November.
Uniform Each cheerleader will receive an OGB uniform, which consists of a cheer vest and skirt. All uniforms must be returned to OGB at the end of the season. In addition, the girls will need to purchase some other uniform accessories. A full list will be provided to parents before the season begins.
Competition Team All cheerleaders are eligible to join our award-winning competition cheer teams, which usually participate in a local area cheer competition. This competition team usually extends through the month of November.
Coaches The coaching staff is traditionally made up of both adult and student coaches. All coaches must pass a background clearance and obtain an Independent Youth Football League ID. Student coaches are normally prior OGB, high school, or All Star cheerleaders.
Commitment All cheerleaders need to be present on a regular basis to practice their cheers, dances and especially stunts! The success of the program is driven by the level of support delivered by our coaches, players, parents, volunteers and the community.
