CAMP PHILOSOPHY AND ORGANIZATION

The Messiah University Little Falcons Girls Basketball camp for girls in rising grades 2-5 is designed to create a fun and exciting environment where campers can not only grow in their skill but also in their love of the game.  We strive to give as much individual attention as possible to each camper throughout the week.  We carefully select our staff from our best current and former players who have a heart for teaching and the ability to communicate with young people.  We know that in some camp situations the coaches and counselors are not always the best role models for today’s young players, we seek to be special in that way, and want to leave a positive and meaningful impression on each athlete during their week at camp.

Training each day will consist of the fundamentals around Ball Handling, Shooting, Passing and Defense.  Campers will also be introduced to the Falcon Basketball Drills for Skills factory.  We will utilize lower baskets and smaller basketballs to enhance proper technique in execution of fundamental skills.  Sawyer Gymnasium has 7 baskets that can all be lowered.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CAMP SCHEDULE

*Check In:

All campers should arrive on Monday morning between 8:30-9:00 to check into camp.  IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE EVERYONE THROUGH CHECK IN BY 8:45AM SO WE CAN START THE CAMP WELCOME AT 9:00AM on Monday.

We will have a Certified Athletic Trainer on Staff for the week that will be able to answer any questions or help in any way they can during the week.

Camp Discount Available

We are only able to offer our Sibling Discount this year for our day camps -  Every Child after the first child to register can get a $20 discount.  Email coach Miller at mmiller@messiah.edu for your discount code.

Due to NCAA guidelines we are not allowed to give scholarships for athletes to attend camp.  We are limited to the above discounts that are available to all campers who it applies.

Camp Cancellation and Refund Policy

Do I have to pay in full or can I submit a deposit?
All camps will have payment options* available to you:
1) Full Payment:  Pay in full at time of online registration with credit card.
2) Deposit (Day, Res, and Little Falcons Camp Only):  Pay a nonrefundable deposit** at time of registration with credit card and remaining balance will be charged to your credit card on June 1st.
3) Installment Plan (Day and Res Camp Only):  Pay a nonrefundable deposit** at time of online registration with a credit card and your credit card will be charged on subsequent dates with the final amount charged on June 1st.  You will be charged for any dates that have come and gone before the date of online registration. Please note--our website vendor charges a $3 service fee for every transaction.

*These options will be made available to you when payment is required at the end of the online registration process.
**Nonrefundable Deposits:  $15.00

Our website vendor has a $3 service fee for every transaction which accounts for the following:
        --$3 to pay in full, $6 to pay a deposit and remaining balance, and $9 to pay three installments. 
        --If you sign up multiple campers at the same time you only pay the one $3 service fee per transaction.

Will I receive a confirmation e-mail?
Immediately after you sign up for camp you will receive a confirmation e-mail and receipt.

Can I print off a Registration Form and pay with a check?
No, the online registration is the only way to sign up for camp.
