Our goal is to foster and enhance a physically and mentally challenging environment that guides players to reach their highest potential. We want our soccer players to have a love for the game that increases their chance for future success on and off the field. Cuervos FC will bring pride to our players, families, and community.

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is to provide a positive, competitive youth soccer experience for players. We believe a positive team sport experience will promote a youth's self-confidence and self-esteem beyond the soccer field.

We emphasize individual skill development, teamwork, game concepts and sportsmanship. We provide a healthy perspective on both winning and losing. Our success is defined by learning from our game play through effort, competitive spirit and teamwork.

Cuervos FC has one thing that sets us apart from most clubs. We allow the players to have input on game strategies, set pieces, and team assessments. We believe this builds character and shows mutual respect on and off the field.

We will do our best to ensure each member plays at least 50% of the game.

VALUES

CLUB EXPECTATIONS

Cuervos FC is a family orientated environment. We want our teams to be competitive yet  represent the club in a respectful manner whether at a practice, league game or tournament.

Cuervos FC has aspirations of becoming an elite program in the future. Our players will have the opportunity to train up and guest play with higher divisions and higher level teams at games and tournaments. Guest players are personally invited by the head coach. The opportunity is earned through hard work and dedication. Cuervos FC may also invite an outside guest player, if they are legal to play within the club.

If a player is unable to attend practice sessions, they may attend a similar division club's open practice with permission from the head coach. A closed practice is only open to that division and any invited guest players.

Our roster choices are based on players' ability and drive. We place players at the appropriate level of play. We will actively challenge our players to enhance their development. Alternating players to another team may be necessary due to injuries and absences. Most rosters will have 11-18 players maximum.
