2024 "SORT-N-SACK" DONATION

Our board members had the privilege to stop by Driscoll Children’s Hospital to donate items for the "Sort-N-Stack" event which provides toys for sick children during the holiday.

We are so grateful to be a part of something so special and to help spread joy this season. We hope these gifts bring smiles to the faces to those who need it most.

2024 TURKEY GIVEAWAY

We are counting our blessings starting with all of YOU! Thank you for all the love and support you all have shown us this year. We are beyond grateful to have teamed up with Taft ISD to bless families with a turkey this Thanksgiving! 2023 Annual Toy Giveaway

We are beyond grateful to have been able to handout toys to over 150+ vehicles at our Annual Toy Giveaway to kids of all ages in our community.  A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make this years Toy Giveaway such a success. We not only had toys donated this year but also games, speakers, books, etc that we were able to handout and bless so many kids this Christmas. 

Thank you to Taft Independent School District for your continued support and allowing us the use of the parking lot at Petty Elementary!

2023 Taft Christmas Festival

Our board members had a jolly good time participating in the Taft Christmas Festival from decorating a Christmas tree for the tree decoration contest to riding in the Christmas Parade. After the festival our board members donated our decorated tree to a local family to enjoy this Holiday season. We wish you all a Merry Christmas! 

2023 Wrapping Gifts for our Annual Toy Giveaway

 Santa's Friends and High School Senior Elves had a blast coming together to wrap all the donations given to our organization for our Annual Toy Giveaway. We will be spreading Christmas Cheer to all the boys and girls in the Taft Community on Wednesday, December 20th starting at 6:30pm. We have something for all ages up to 18yrs old. Be on the lookout for more information regarding our giveaway of toys that will be posted on our Facebook page.

2023 Badges and Bears Donation Drive

On behalf of the board of the Friends of the Taft City Parks we would like to thank each and every one of you who donated a new teddy bear/stuffed animal to our first ever Badges and Bears Donation Drive. We were able to donate a ball full of stuffed animals to each of the following departments: Taft PD, Taft Fire & Rescue and Allegiance Mobile Health - Taft to help provide comfort to children on different scenes they respond to.

2023 HALLOWEEN ON GREEN

We had a spooktacular time with all of you out on Halloween on Green. Thank you for stopping by our Hall of Fame table and walking the red carpet with us. Happy Halloween!

2023 Taft ISD Back to School Backpack Event

Our organization participated in the 2023 Taft ISD Back to School Backpack Event at the Woodroe Petty Elementary. We donated 48 bags and 50 spirit shirts to be given out during the event and handed out information on our upcoming registrations for our youth sports. Thank you to Taft ISD for inviting us to participate this year at the event. 

2023 SUMMER READING

Our Board Members stopped by the Little Book Locker at Woodroe Petty Elementary to drop off 15 new books for the kids to enjoy! We hope the kids enjoy reading one of the new books this summer! 

2023 End of Summer Celebration

We ended the Summer with celebrating with all our strength & conditioning participants with a free snow cone from FLOGO snow cone. Thank you to FLOGO for coming out and helping us treat all our participants to some yummy treats. 

2023 Amazon Wishlist #clearthelist

We were so happy to be able to help #clearthelist for the second year in a row. To show our appreciation to our local educators we helped to clear off a few items from 12 different educators for the 2023 - 2024 school year. We enjoy being able to give back to members in our community who help make a difference in the lives of our youth. Thank you for all that you do!

2023 Summer Strength & Conditioning

Thank you Taft ISD for allowing us the use of the stadium so that we can provide a FREE and fun camp for our youth all Summer long. We are so proud of all our participants this summer. We can't wait to do it all again next Summer. 

2023 Summer Bash

Our board members had a blast participating in the City of Taft Summer Bash/Movie in the Park. We provided free juices for all the kids, coloring pages and fun activities for everyone to enjoy.

2022 Annual Christmas Toy Parade

A huge thank you to the Taft Volunteer Fire and Rescue for being apart of our Christmas Toy Parade and helping to make it a success. We were able to bless a lot of kids in our community this year through the donations we received at our Annual Toy Drive during our 2022 NFL Flag Football Championship games.

We can’t thank you all enough for the donations of toys for our Annual Toy Drive.  Petty Student Council came together to wrap all the donation of toys received at our 2022 NFL Flag Football Championship games and they all did such a wonderful job. We are so grateful for all their help!

Online Fill the Helmet Fundraiser for the Taft League

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our Online Fill the Helmet Fundraiser for the Taft League. We were able to present them with a $1000 check to help with the cost of equipment and/or registration for the 2022 Youth Tackle Football Season. We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.

Donation to the Taft Volunteer Fire and Rescue

Hotter weather is approaching and to help show our appreciation for all the TVFD does our organization donated water and gatorade to the department to help keep members hydrated during their calls.

2021 Knights of Columbus Annual Toy Giveaway

During our Championship Games for our NFL Flag Football Season, we collected new toys to be donated to the youth in our community.
