In memory of Daniel Lee Tijerina & Arturo O. Naranjo, Jr. we will be awarding two $500 scholarships to students who show leadership qualities and strive to make a difference in the community.

Deadline for application is March 31, 2023

Applicants will be notified if awarded a scholarship by May 5, 2023, by phone or email.

CRITERIA

· Applicants must volunteer with the Friends of the Taft City Parks a minimum of 30 hours. Applicants will be responsible of recording and submitting proof of volunteer hours.

· Applicants must be completing or have completed high school successfully with a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

· Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a college, university, or trade school program for the upcoming academic semester before scholarship award will be issued.
