Tryout Dates

Wednesday December 3 and Thursday December 4

DePortola Middle School

For the following age groups/birth dates

U7 Aug 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2020

U8 Aug 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019

U9 Aug 1, 2017 to July 31, 2018

Tryouts for older age groups will be on or after Feb 23, 2016

Pre-registration will ensure evaluation day and allow us to send updates to any changes in schedules.

What to Bring

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled tryout time for check-in

Players should be ready to play soccer and be equipped with shinguards covered by socks and a soccer ball. Players should have a bottle of water.

Attending the tryout does not obligate your player to join a team.

What is the cost if my child joins a team?

Tierrasanta Soccer has some of the most affordable fees in San Diego. The fee for your player will depend on the division.

We focus our resources on what is most important to players and families, the team coach. Administration is carried out by volunteers which eliminates the high cost of multiple directors and administrators. The registration fee can be paid in affordable payment plans. Team uniform and additional tournaments are not included in the registration fee and are additional.

Coaching fees for the year

Inclusion in Tierrasanta Spring or Winter Soccer League - Our spring league is included so your child will get additional playing opportunity and may attend staff training sessions.

US Club Soccer Registration

Tierrasanta Soccer Registration

Fall SoCal Competitive League

Referee Fees in So Cal league

Use of fields for practice/games (permit fees) including field lining

Position on the team through the entire year

Player secondary insurance

Clinics for goalkeeping/strikers

Additional fees

Uniform Kit

Additional tournaments or leagues the team chooses to play in will be an additional cost with players splitting the entry fees. These are typically $60 to $90 per event.

Optional club jacket/sweatshirt/backpack is extra

Coaches will arrange a number of scrimmage games with other clubs outside of the regular league season. These games are typically free or minimal cost of a few dollars per player to cover referee fee if a referee is used.
