• WHERE WILL THE CAMP BE?  The camp is outdoors on the CHS stadium turf. We expect to have 1 -2 tents for shade and cool down stations. The new bathroom facility will be open and available for our use.
  

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?

• T-SHIRT:
  • Each player will be given a Connetquot Practice ready T-shirt.
  • Additional T-Shirts can be purchased during the camp week.
    

• SOCCER BALL 
  • Youth campers will receive an age appropriate soccer ball on the first day and we ask that they decorate (tattoo) it before returning for day 2 of camp. This will help your son/daughter identify their ball the rest of the week. 
  • Middle and High School players will not receive a soccer ball and they need to bring their own to camp. 

• SNACKS
  • Snacks will be provided one or two times later in the week. Please inform us if your child has any food allergies. 
  • Please send your child with a refillable sports water bottle. We will have jugs of ice water to refill their bottles. 

WHAT IS THE COST AND ARE DISCOUNTS  AVAILABLE?

• Camp cost is $200 for first child.
  

Sibling discounts

• 2nd Child + will receive a $25 discount.
  

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?

• Footwear: Campers should bring 2 pairs of shoes to camp: Soccer cleat/turf shoes and running/athletic sneakers.

• Equipment: Shin guards.  Shin guards must be worn during contact drills.

• Drinks: Campers are required to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated throughout the entire camp day. Juice and/or sports drinks that do not contain large amounts of sugar are encouraged as a water substitute.  Carbonated soda and energy drinks are not permitted during camp. Please remind your child to hydrate as much as possible at home to help with recovery and preparation for the next day.

HOW WILL MY CHILD BE GROUPED?

• Campers will be separated first by age and then by skill level the first day to ensure that they are in the proper developmental group for the rest of camp.

• Most groups will also be separated into a boys and girls group by grade depending on enrollment and/or skill. 

IS AN ATHELTIC TRAINER OR MEDICAL PERSON PRESENT: 

• We will have an Athletic Trainer or Medical staff for the morning ID camp to help with acute injuries and supervise the medical needs for each camp participant if needed.  

• The Camp Directors will handle all injuries for the evening camp

HEAT ALERT POLICY: Our CHS Boys and Girls soccer camp will follow Section XI heat alert policy in the event we experience the following.  

• Modified Heat Alert: When the heat index reaches 88 (equivalent to T.H.I. of 73), practice sessions or contests in all sports must include:
  • Forced, frequent water breaks (every 10-15 minutes).
  • Loose clothing, light colored shorts and tee shirts (mesh recommended) for practice sessions.
  • Frequent rest breaks in shaded areas.

• Full Heat Alert: When the heat index reaches 95 (equivalent to T.H.I. of 78),  no physical activity in any sport is permitted.
  • We will try to go inside if possible. 

INCLEMENT WEATEHR POLICY:

• If we experience inclement weather such as rain, thunder, lighting or heat advisories all activities will be adapted.
• We do not have use of indoor facilities.
• If weather interrupts our camp we can go inside for shelter and we will end camp early. Parents will be contacted via email and text to come and pick up the campers.
• There are no refunds for inclement weather. 

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Cancellation requests should be emailed to camp director John Zambriski at [email protected].

• All transactions fees are non-refundable for all cancellations.

• All cancelations requests made on or before July 10, 2024 will be subject to at $25 admin fee.

• Cancellation requests made after July 10, 2024 will be subject to a $75 supplies and admin fee. 
  

• There are NO refunds for any part of camp missed due to inclement weather.
