Instructional Divisions FAQs

What are the days/times for Instructional practices?
During registration, you can choose from two different practice day options:
Friday Evening: 5:30-6:30 pm
Saturday Morning: 9:00-10:00 am

What does my child need to bring?
Please make sure your child has the following at each practice:

Size 3 soccer ball
Sneakers or cleats
Shin guards and socks
A FULL water bottle
A parent or guardian present

Does my child get a Team Shirt?
Yes! Each child will be provided a Coventry Soccer t-shirt on opening weekend.

When should I hear from my child's coach?
Coaches typically get their rosters and reach out to families the week before the season starts. If you haven't heard from your coach within a few days of the start of the season, please email us to let us know. Often, finding enough volunteers to coach the large number of teams we have is difficult, so please consider helping out with your child's team by registering as a Head or Assistant Coach.

How do I know where to find my child's team/coach the first day?
Volunteers will be available opening weekend to sign families in, distribute t-shirts, and help you find your child's team. Teams will consistently practice in the same location from week to week.
