McHenry Pigtail League is a multi-divisional organization who welcomes all skill levels.  The league consists of recreational teams, tournament teams and travel teams.  Each division is made up of multiple age groups starting at 6U for rec and 8U for tournament and travel, with the possibility of going all the up to the 20u level.  McHenry Pigtail League participation is not limited to McHenry residents only.  

Recreational teams spring ball non-cut registration begins online February 1st and goes through mid-March. Practices begin the first week in April with a game schedule that runs from May through the end of June. Fall ball non-cut registration begins online in mid-July and goes through the first week of August.  Practices begin mid-August with a game schedule of every Saturday in September and October.  

Mayhem Tournament team tryouts will run concurrently with Spring registration.  In order for players to participate in the tournament team, they must register and play for the rec division during the Spring season.  Tournament teams will practice once a week, throughout the spring season, and will participate in three tournaments in July.

Elite Travel division tryouts are held late July and early August.  Participation in practices and tournaments is year-round, with winter months moving indoors.
