Creekside
Basketball League is committed to providing the students of Creekside
Elementary with a basketball season filled with learning, competition, and fun.
The following divisions are being formed for the upcoming season: 2/3 grade boys, 2/3 grade girls, 4/5 grade boys, and 4/5 grade girls. In addition,
we will form a Creekside Basketball Training League for Kindergarten and 1st grade boys and girls.
Registration
Registration
and payment is available online only. All players must pre-register
for the league. We cannot guarantee placement in the league as we may have to
cap the number of players in some divisions so the we do not exceed the number
of teams we are able to accommodate. You will find programs under the Registration Information tab and click the “Register Now” link next to the appropriate program. (If you have an account already, you can also begin registration from your account home where it has a "register now" link as well.) Registration is not open to
students from other schools.
Anyone interested in becoming a Head Coach will
have the opportunity to express interest via the online registration
form. Also, if you have any questions about the league or the
registration process, please click on the email icon and forward any questions
or concerns.
Head coaches are responsible for selecting their individual
teams through the player draft. Coach and or team requests will not be
taken into consideration. Assistant coaches will be selected once the
teams have been established.
All scheduling conflicts can be noted
in the registration form. Due to the
size of the league, no player requests for same teams can be given.
Mandatory Skills Assessment
All players registering for the 2nd –
5th grade divisions will be
required to participate in the skills assessment. This is not a try-out, but an effort to
create balanced teams. Each child will be evaluated on dribbling,
shooting and lay-ups. Assessments will take place in the Creekside gym during the following times:
10/13: 2/3 Boys 6:30–7:30 | 2/3 Girls 7:30–8:30
10/14: 4/5 Boys 6:30–7:30 | 4/5 Girls 7:30–8:30
