About Us

The Cynthiana-Harrison County Recreation Department is an organization partially funded by the Harrison County Fiscal Court and the City of Cynthiana.  Most of the funds are generated by the department programs and donations.  The CHCRD is governed by a board of nine members consisting of two fiscal court magistrates, two city commissioners and five at large member.  Our goal is to provide recreation opportunities for all age participants, and providing a safe play environment for all.
