Lake Norman Huskies - HFL

The HFL is a competitive tackle football league with teams in the Lake Norman, Triangle, Triad and Davie County regions of NC. We have the following programs currently available:

Junior Varsity Tackle Football  - 14-16 years old

Varsity Tackle Football - 16-18 years old

The HFL exists to provide young men with the opportunity to experience competitive football in a  Christian environment with the goal of maturing them as followers of Christ and as football players. Currently the HFL offers contact football in the Fall and the Spring.  All league teams are coached with an emphasis on developing morals and sportsmanship.  Coaches and players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to building a league based on biblical principles. As we continue to build the league, we will base our development, conduct, and decisions on the principles of the Christian faith lived out in the life of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Want to know what we love more than football? We love the Lord! Football is a close second which is why we choose to teach young men more about loving the Lord and the game every day in the HFL.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're interested in being on the field or cheering from the sidelines, we welcome you to be a part of the HFL family. Our league serves as an amazing opportunity for young men to grow their passion and skill set on the football field while being exposed to excellent examples of leadership in their coaches and mentors.

The men that serve as coaches in the HFL are believers and they're dedicated to making sure that players prevail both on and off the field.

WHO CAN JOIN? Boys from ages 8-18 (age cutoff is August 1 of that season). All Players must be an enrolled student (any school type) or high school graduate.

All players must not play for another football team during the HFL season.

All players must not have been removed from a team for behavioral/disciplinary
