 We are excited about our second year of Upward Basketball! Check back to this page as we will regularly update it with news from YOUR league. We are looking forward to an exciting year!

Announcements

Remember each Upward Basketball participant MUST attend an Upward evaluation!

You have the opportunity to choose between four Upward Evaluations: Saturdays, October 13 or 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; and, Mondays, October 15 or 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

All Upward Evaluations will take place in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church.

Image DetailOne of the advantages to online registration is the availability to pay the registration fee from the comfort of your home or office. First Baptist Church has contracted with Blue Sombrero, an internet sports registration site, to process each financial transaction. You can be assured Blue Sombrero is a secure site with a long history of sports registration.

About Our Club

First Baptist Church, Big Spring, Texas, is in our second year of Upward Sports. Our goal is to be able to use sports as an opportunity to convey the message of God's love to families. Currently, basketball is our only sport. Many dedicated people give themselves to this ministry because they have a heart for people and love to establish new relationships with our neighbors for the purpose of pointing them to Christ.
