Who is Gridiron Partners Inc.? 

Gridiron Partners Inc. is a Female Flag football Organization that serves youth and adults with leagues, clinics, travel and club programs. Gridiron was created by Katie DiChiaro and Jennifer Kisslinger with the intent to reach more females wishing to play flag football from the beginner to the advanced level.

What is the difference between the Westchester Female Flag Football League (Gridiron Partners Inc.) and SYSO GFF? 

Katie and Jenn founded their first pilot recreational program in 2018 with 30 girls in Somers which grew to 188 females in 2021. 

After founding and running the in-town Somers Recreation Program, (SYSO GFF), we saw the need to create a program that would serve females who do not yet have a league in Westchester and surrounding counties and/or who are looking to play in a more competitive league with tournament and travel opportunities similar to other sports.

Gridiron Partners Inc. will offer tryout-based, travel and tournament opportunities only this fall.  

SYSO GFF is now being commissioned by two trusted female leaders in our community who are invested in building and strengthening the Somers Flag Football Program for years to come. 

As Gridiron Partners Inc. we have created a competitive League for tri-state counties and female football programs for ANY female participants regardless of town.

Is this a club or travel program?  Are there tournaments?

In the fall we will be creating a travel and club program for those girls who would like the opportunities to compete at a higher level. This would include local or regional tournaments.  We will not be doing a recreational league in the Fall.

Can we make our own team?

You may make your own team or in the event you do not have enough players for your own team, you may request that your group be together if all the players agree.  To help facilitate either scenario, please write in a Coach’s name in the form field request.   We aim to make teams even for healthy competition, but we encourage towns that have their own teams to join the league.

I don’t have a team, will my daughter be placed on one?

If you don’t not have a team, we will place your daughter based on our best assessment of their skill level making the teams balanced and equally competitive.

Can I or my daughter request to be with a friend?

Yes, you may request in the comment section.   We aim to honor requests as much as possible.

I don’t see a division, will there be set divisions?

We will be creating the divisions based on the numbers of players by age.  We will make the teams as competitive as possible within the age ranges.

We are a part of the NFL Flag League .
