2023-2024 PROGRAM DETAILS
OUR CLUB PROGRAM focuses on the development of skills, mechanics, techniques, and discipline in youth volleyball through intensive training and practice, competitive tournaments, compassionate coaching, and a strong emphasis on positive, growth-mentality culture. Our volleyball programs instill hard work, dedication, responsibility, resiliency, and productive life skills in our athletes on and off the court.
OUR COACHES are driven by a love of the game, years of experience, passion for mentoring today’s youth and developing athletes into lifelong volleyball players. We pride ourselves in quality coaching centered on personal and team growth-oriented mentoring and training. Our coaches are trained to be consistent, collaborative, supportive, and positive, establishing an environment and team culture conducive for maximum development.
TEAM STRUCTURES follow a consistent standard across all age groups. Each team will roster up to 10 players and up to 2 taxis (practice players) for competitive practices, maximum playing time in practices and tournaments, ensured direct coaching for each player, and a great team experience. Age groups will only be combined when developmentally appropriate and as numbers restrict the quantity of competitive teams able to be formed. 12u teams will forego taxi players and combine courts for practices to ensure maximum game play practices. Please notify Serra Jarboe at [email protected] if you are interested in being a taxi player.
SEASON SCHEDULES: Practice schedules will be released in team selection emails and will be confirmed by your head coach via email before Thanksgiving. All teams will practice twice weekly, either Monday/Wednesday 5-7pm (typically 14u and younger) or 7-9pm (typically 14u-18u) or Tuesday/Thursday 7-9pm (typically 15u-18u). Tournament schedules will be released tentatively in December and will be confirmed and adjusted throughout the season. All practice and training sessions are at Coppermine Sportsman's Hall in Upperco, just a few miles from Coppermine 4 Seasons. We will break for a week at both Christmas and Easter.
EVOLVE SPORTS PERFORMANCE: ESP’s Program is designed to help athletes reach their full potential in their chosen sport. Our sports performance program provides athletes with a well-rounded training program that will help improve speed, strength, explosiveness, agility and confidence, while reducing the chances of injury. Each session will be led by a coach in our top-notch training facility and is programmed to each athlete's ability with the goal of progression for each athlete.
