New London Soccer Club - CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT

PLAYER

As a player registered with the New London Soccer Club I agree to abide by and follow the following rules and guidelines:

·       I agree to support and to conduct myself in compliance with all CJSA, NLSC and Team policies, procedures, and regulations.

·       I will treat all players, coaches, officials, parents, and spectators with dignity and respect regardless of race, creed, color, sex or ability.  This includes posts on social media.

·       I will respect the property and equipment used at any sports facility, both home and away, and will help maintain all NLSC equipment and facilities.

I understand that by signing this document I am agreeing to support and promote this Code of Conduct Agreement. Further, my failure to comply with this Agreement will result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from Connecticut Junior Soccer Association and its member clubs.

PARENT(S)/LEGAL GUARDIAN

As a parent/legal guardian of a child involved in a program of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association, I agree to abide by and follow the rules and guidelines below.

·       I will remember that my child plays soccer for his/her enjoyment, not mine; and will promote the emotional and physical well-being of the athletes ahead of any personal desire to win.

·       I will encourage good sportsmanship through my actions, by demonstrating positive support for all players and treating all players, coaches, officials, parents, and spectators with dignity in language, attitude, behavior, and mannerisms.  This includes posts on social media.

·       I will respect the property and equipment used at any sports facility, both home and away, and will help maintain all NLSC equipment and facilities.

·       I will respect the rules of any sports facility (home and away) and any CJSA facility-specific rules.

·       I will, whenever possible, actively support the fundraising efforts of the NLSC which benefit the club as a whole.

I understand that by signing this document I am agreeing to support and promote this Code of Conduct Agreement. Further, my failure to comply with this Agreement will result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from Connecticut Junior Soccer Association and its member clubs.
