Team Iowa is a select organization for football players in 6th, 7th and 8th grade who want to compete at an elite level.  Our mission is to showcase the elite players in Iowa.  We always strive to bring together a compilation of talented players working around everyone’s league season (we will only come together before and after league seasons so as not to conflict with those schedules) and to highlight what these players have already accomplished within their league or hometown team.  We’re not only looking for the best players, but also talented coaches at each grade level to experience the coming together of the state's best and compete with the nation's best teams and coaches.   Although we play to compete at the highest level and represent our state proudly, we also acknowledge the “one of kind” experience for coaches, players and parents.

Players are selected to Team Iowa via a tryout process, including both non-padded and padded events. Practices are coordinated through the team director and head coaches and are held in West Des Moines.  Teams participate in 2-3 tournaments per season.  Again, Team Iowa does not conflict with regular league or school season play.
