Learn to Ice Skate

Tim Hortons Iceplex is all about getting new people introduced to ice sports! We offer a wide array of programs for people of all ages to learn a new sport (or a positive lifelong skill like ice skating). Our Learn to Skate Program (Skating 101) is the area's largest, introducing over 1,000 new participants to ice skating each year. That program acts as a stepping stone for people with a desire to move into other sports, such as Figure Skating and Ice Hockey. Graduates could then progress into our Hockey 101 program (ages 4 to 8) or our Never Ever League (18+), or Figure Skating program (Figure Skating 101), depending on which sport interests them.

SKATING 101 PROGRAM

PROGRAM AGES: 3 and older
PROGRAM FREQUENCY: Each session meets once per week for 8 weeks. 6 sessions offered in total over the course of the full year.

FIGURE SKATING 101 PROGRAM
