Southside Soccer Club of South Carolina was formed in 2011 as a girls select soccer club to serve Beaufort County and its surrounding areas. At its inception, club director, Anthony Serpe, along with the other founders were all "D" licensed club coaches and experienced area high school coaches. The mission of the newly formed club was to promote growth of youth soccer in our area through quality training and competition. Previously, there had not been a consistent presence of high level soccer for girls in our area.

Southside Soccer Club has and will continue to be focused and committed to coaching education and providing the opportunity to expose our players to top professional trainers. We work to develop each and every player's soccer skills, character, and self-esteem to the fullest potential. Over the first four years, we more than doubled in size from a club of 4 girls teams to a club of 10 teams.

In 2015, based on a solid reputation and high caliber management system, we turned over club management to GPS. With Anthony Serpe's over site, the club advanced with unprecedented growth, bringing on board a successful boys program, and our reach became regional. Together, we proudly sent players to national and international teams. We have celebrated more than two dozen players that have moved on to play at the next level. All with substantial soccer and educational scholarships. 

Southside Soccer Club is now looking forward to continuing club soccer in Beaufort county with the same energy and enthusiasm for youth soccer that we have always had.
