Stephen Shearer
Coach Stephen Shearer has over 18 years experience coaching soccer in the Shelby County area and has coached ages from 4 to 19 years old. Stephen and his wife Lynda have 3 daughters who played competitive and high school soccer.
Stephen graduated from Memphis Central High School and Christian Brothers University (CBU) with a BS in Civil Engineering and a minor in structural engineering. He is the owner of LMK Building Designs, Inc. founded in 2000 and has worked in 25 states and South Korea. He was the first elected president of the Tennessee Structural Engineers Association in 2010. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in 3 states.
Coach Stephen played soccer for the Sea Isle Park Rangers of the Memphis Motrin Futbol Club in the GMSA men’s Premier League. He holds the USSF National “C” License which he received in Atlanta Georgia under Coach Jacob Daniels the author of the "Olympic Development Program Coaching Manual" that is used nation wide. He also holds the USSF National Youth License and the NSCAA National Diploma. He founded Chickasaw Futbol Club in June 2019 and has coached dozens of players that have played soccer in college. Several of his players made Tennessee's ODP teams.
Mike Jines
Coach Mike Jines is a 25 year retired Navy veteran. Coach Jines started coaching through the military’s Morale welfare and recreation (MWR) system. Before earning his National D license for soccer he was a nationally certified baseball and basketball coach.
Coach Jines has been coaching soccer for 14 years and along with being the CFC 2012/13 boys premier coach he is currently the Munford Middle School boys and Girls head soccer coach.
Coach Jines has won 4 conference championships with the Munford Middle schools teams and has been Sectionals runner up 3 times.
Coach Jines has four sons who all have played or are currently playing competitive sports. Currently his son Ethan (16) wrestles and plays soccer for Christian Brothers High school. Ethan also plays for the Lobos 05 Elite squad. His son Uriah (9) is currently playing for the 2012/13 premier boys.Lauren Reaves
Coach Lauren Reaves has over 15 years of experience playing soccer, including 4 years as a goal keeper at Bartlett High School, and 3 years at Arlington Soccer Academy with an SEC goal keeper coach. She has 4 years experience coaching with ages 5-18, and this is her third year with CFC.
Coach Lauren has a a USSF grade 8 referee license. From private soccer lessons with teens, to coaching a flag football team with 6/7 year olds, she knows coaching is a passion of hers. Currently, Lauren is in her senior year at the University of Memphis - Loewenberg College of Nursing, and currently works at Le Bonheur on the Neuroscience floor. She also works at her family’s restaurant, Side Porch Steakhouse, in her free time.
Mark Bray, Jr.
Coach Mark Bray has over 20 years of experience playing soccer and 5 years of experience coaching. He has experience with coaching club teams and private lessons.
Mark is an Arlington High School Alumni, where he played Varsity all 4 years as well as played on numerous club teams over the past 2 decades. He currently plays on a men’s league and a co-ed adult league.
He is certified and has a USSF National D License. Mark is a Senior at the University of Memphis, majoring in Civil Engineering. Soccer is not only a hobby, but part of his everyday family life. He comes from a family of soccer players and works part-time at his family’s business, 901 Soccer Store.
Justin Kerns
Coach Justin Kerns is an Air Force veteran. Coach Kerns has been coaching soccer for 9 years, ages 5-11. He graduated from Christian Brothers High, attended Webber International University playing in NAIA Div 1 soccer.
Coach Kerns played on the Air Force base teams at every base he was stationed. He played for the local town team in Spangdahlem, Germany. Coach Kerns has two children who all have played or are currently playing competitive sports. His son is currently playing for the CFC 2012/13 Premier boys. His daughter played for the Brighton Cardinals middle school team.
Dylan Brown
Coach Dylan Brown is a Teacher and Coach at Brighton Middle School. Coach Brown started coaching Soccer and Football in his first year of teaching in Fayette County. Coach Brown has been coaching soccer for 7 years. He is currently the Brighton Middle School Boys and Girls head soccer coach.
Dylan graduated from Gibson County High School where he played for their varsity soccer squad. He went on to The University of Tennessee at
Martin (UTM) to graduate with a B.S in Health and Human Performance, and Minor in Athletic Coaching. He is also currently working on his Sports Nutritionist and Performance Specialist license through the National Academy of Sports Medicine certification program.
