Referee Training

Referee Clinic:
Date: December 16, 2023
Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm
Location: Gordon 2

Phase One: Online Training

The online training is hosted by Washington State Referee Committee (WASRC).
It must be 100% complete prior to selecting a field clinic.
Please complete it at least 72 hours before the clinic.

Go to www.wareferees.org
Hover over "Instruction" on the horizontal menu tab.
Select "Clinic and Events Schedule" from the pull-down menu.
In the white box, select "Entry – Never been a USSF referee before."
Choose "New Referee (PreClinic Lessons)" from the available clinics.
Register for site access, and then register/pay to start the training.

Phase Two: Field Clinic

The four-hour field clinic is hosted by a local club

(Tracyton is hosting a training on 12/16/23)

and taught by State trained instructors.
After completing the online training and passing the tests, you can sign up for the in-person field clinic.

Go back to www.wareferees.org and sign up for one of the field clinics.

Jamboree and Academy Referee Schedule Sign up

Tracyton Soccer 4th Annual Jamboree Schedule

All games will be at Lobe baseball fields 1 and 4. Please limit to 3 games initially.

Make sure to report your scores and any game comments.

2023 Fall Season Schedule (U5 - U8)

All games will be on Lobe field 4

U5 - U8 Fall 2022 Season Referee sign up is posted here.

Limit of 3 games per weekend per referee. across all mod age (U5 - U10) groups.

Game sign up available to opened Sunday evenings at 5pm for two weeks out.

Make sure to report game scores and any comments promptly.

2023 Fall Small Sided Referee Clinic:

WYS Risk Management Assessment (RMA) -For Referees 18 years of age and old

Minor WYS Risk Management Assessment (RMA) - For SS Referees under 18 years of age

After you complete the certificates please click here to process your background check. Use the same email address used to complete your certificates at the US Soccer Learning center.

*If a W4 was turned in to Tracyton last year and nothing changed there is no need to submit another.

**If completed before school starts only the parent signature is required

Please bring to each match the following:

Whistle

Watch or stopwatch (NO Cell Phones)

Scorecard or 3 x 5 cards.
Two pencils

Two solid colored t-shirts (Not orange and black)

Tracyton Soccer Club and surrounding clubs in our area are in a high need for certified Grassroots referees. Refereeing is a rewarding pastime and very fun for adults and teens who want to earn money and love soccer! Follow the link below to find out when the next course will be!

To signup:

1. Go to www.WAReferees.org
2. Select the menu item Instruction / Clinics & Events Schedule
3. Select Entry - Never been a USSF Referee before from the drop down menu
4. This will show the available entry level clinics. To sign up click on the Register with WAReferees link on the far right for the correct clinic.
5. If you are not yet registered with WAReferees.org you must fill out your personal information.
6. You will then need to pay for the clinic. Hit the Checkout button to pay for the clinic.
7. Now the online sessions can be taken. The online work must be complete prior to the course.
