Registration - Getting Started, Family Max, Refund Policy

Welcome to the latest Pomperaug Soccer Club registration system.  CJSA has migrated to the Sports Connect platform for the state and district requirements.  Please review the points below before proceeding.

When registration is OPEN - you will see the programs listed at the bottom of this page under 'REGISTRATION LISTING'.

  1. The high-level registration process is:
    1. Families who previously used 'Sports Connect' can select the "Login" button on the upper right of the page.
      OR
      New Families will need to create a new account on this website by selecting the "Login" button on the upper right of the page, and then selecting the "Register Now" link at the bottom of the next page.  You can then add Family Members to your account (Parents, Guardians, All Players).
    2. Register the player(s) for the applicable Program.
    3. Coaches or Interested Coaches must Register as a 'Coach' in the system, however this can be done at a later time if needed. There is no cost but this step is required so that a background check can be performed.
  2. Creating a new account is similar to other websites. But please note the password complexity requirements which are not specifically outlined. Your new password must contain 1 capital letter AND 1 special character (!,#,$, etc..)

  3. During the Registration process - 'Player Information Section' - there is a question about Insurance information. This is a required field by CJSA which cannot be removed and data needs to be put in these fields to continue.

  4. During the Registration process - all Travel players will need a picture uploaded. Photos must be cropped to show the player's face only such that the face fills the entire frame. Player passes cannot be created with full body photos.

  5. During the Registration process - all Travel players will need proof of age uploaded. All new U9 registrants, players who have recently moved to the area, or players who have not previously played travel soccer with the Pomperaug Soccer Club, must supply a birth certificate in order to be registered.

  6. Please note that Travel registration fees (U9-U19) do not include the cost of uniforms. Registered Travel players will receive an email during the Summer (for Fall season) or February (for Spring season) with information on how to order team uniforms. In-House (U4-U8) registration fees do include a team shirt which will be provided by your coach on or before opening day.

  7. Pomperaug Soccer Club has established the following Family Max program:

    $350 - for families with all youth players registered with the In House Program (u4-u8)
    $680 - for families with at least one youth player registered with the Travel and/or Premier Programs (u9-u19)

    Family Max is exclusive of Late Fees, Additional Training Registrations (Striker/Keeper Clinics/Referee), Misc Training/License/Clinics, SFC Premier, Adult Soccer and any other expenses not related to players registered to play Pomperaug Soccer between u4 through u19 age groups. The Club Treasurer will provide reimbursement no later than the 4th week of games. Please direct any questions to the Club Treasurer, Craig Perry, at [email protected]

  8. Pomperaug Soccer Club Refund Policy
    ** Should there be a season cancellation across the club before the first game due to COVID19 or state guidelines - 100% refund minus a $10 processing fee.  If there is a cancellation further into the season a prorated amount will be considered **

    Fall Seasons Only (individual requests for various reasons)

    • 100% refund minus a $10 processing fee prior to start of Evaluations.
    • 75% refund after Evaluations and prior to the announcement of Fall teams - or After July 5th... whichever comes first.
    • 50% refund after announcement of Fall teams and prior to start of the Fall season's first game.
    • No refunds will be made after the Fall season's first game.
    • 100% refund minus a $10 processing fee if player is precluded from playing due to medical condition (physician's note required) prior to the third game of the Fall season.


    Spring Seasons Only (individual requests for various reasons)

    • 100% refund minus a $10 processing fee prior to the Spring season's last day of late registration.
    • 75% refund after the Spring season's last day of late registration and prior to team announcements.
    • 50% refund after the Spring season's team announcements and prior to the first game.
    • No refunds will be made after the Spring season's first game.
    • 100% refund minus a $10 processing fee if player is precluded from playing due to medical condition (physician's note required) prior to the third game of any season.
