Coleman-Pound Little League offers baseball to children in the following divisions: 4-6-year-olds (T-Ball), 7-8-year-olds (8U - Machine Pitch), 9-10-year-olds (10U), and 11-12-year-olds (12U). Players will participate in two games per week for our leagues, except for 6U (T-Ball), which plays on Sundays.

Registration Costs:

6U (T-Ball): $20 plus $3 administration fee (the fee pays for our sign-up and communication program)

8U, 10U, 12U: $30 plus $3 administration fee (the fee pays for our sign-up and communication program)

Early Registration Discounts:

8U, 10U, 12U only: Sign up before March 1st and recieve a $5 early bird discount

Late Registration Fee:

8U, 10U, 12U only: Sign up after March 15th and there is a $10 late fee applied.

Practice days:

6U(T-Ball) - Practice on Sunday afternoons - evenings.

8U, 10U, and 12U will practice 2 days a week until games start. Practice days and times vary depending on the team's coaches' schedule and availability, and will be announced when we know.

Games: The Fields we use for home games and practices are Coleman Park, Pound Park, Equity Park, Klondike Park, and Coleman School Fields. Away games are in surrounding towns. Lena, Crivitz, Suring, Gillett, Wausaukee, County Line.

6U: Games are on Sunday afternoons and evenings and only at Coleman Park.

8U and 12U: Games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, usually starting at 5:30 pm. (This is new for 8U this year; previous years' 8U have beenon Monday and Wednesday)

10U: Games are on Mondays and Wednesdays

Equipment:

Helmets, bats, catching gear, balls, are all supplied by the league, but feel free to purchase anything you want. League bats must be USA-stamped and can't be USSSA; they are not allowed.

Gloves: The league has purchased gloves for 8U players at a discounted fee. They are $20 and recommended for this level. Available while supplies last. Contact Dan Perry to get one. We will buy back the gloves at the end of the year for $10 if you want to sell them back to us.

Black pants must be purchased for 8U, 10U, and 12U players. We have some left over from years past, but we will not be stocking them going forward. Parents will be required to get pants for their players.

Fundraising:

We raise funds each year to support the programs. Local Sponsors, Super Bowl boards, ButterBraids sale, Concessions at games. Parents are expected to help with fundraising; failure to do so may result in removal from the program.

Respect:

Parents and athletes are expected to treat teammates, opponents, umpires, and coaches with respect. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the program. Coaches volunteer their time and care about helping all the kids. The most important thing you can do as parents to help your athlete develop is to lay the foundation for them to be coachable, a great teammate, to come to each practice and game with a great attitude, and to put forth a great effort. When this happens, improvement happens rapidly. Baseball is a game of failure; the best hitters in the world only get on base 33% of the time. Encourage your athletes to appreciate the game and learn from mistakes.
