Becoming a TOPSoccer Coach
TOPSoccer Volunteer coaches are a critical component for the success of TOPSoccer!  TOPSoccer coaches are adult volunteers who have are specifically trained to work with special needs children in a soccer atmosphere.  TOPSoccer coach certification is managed by the NJ Youth Soccer Association.   The  US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Coaching Course costs $25.00 and combines a 3-hour classroom seminar with a 1-hour practical demonstration that is designed to guide both the novice and experienced coach. The course presents information on player characteristics, the qualities of a good coach, modern coaching methods and how to collaborate with the TOPSoccer Buddy in providing a fun growth experience for soccer players with special needs.
