St Peter's CYO Basketball 2025-2026

CYO Basketball

Our CYO Basketball Program is open to Boys and Girls enrolled in St. Peter’s School or St Peter’s CCD Program Only. For Boys and Girls K-2nd we have a Saturday morning instructional program (approx. 8-9 sessions). This program introduces basic Basketball skills to prepare children for 3rd grade Basketball. Boys and Girls 3rd-8th grades compete in separate leagues against other parishes. We also currently have a High School Boys Program. All Participants in the High School Program must be parishioners at St. Peter's and completing or have completed their Confirmation requirements at St Peters. Our High School Boys program consists of two teams. One on the JV level (9th and 10th Graders) also one on the Varsity level (11th and 12th graders). Please Note: High School Players that play on a High School basketball team are not eligible per Archdiocese rules to play in the CYO HS Program. Players are welcome to register prior to high school tryouts. Those who make the High School Team will be reimbursed the registration. Our season runs from November through March, with practices and other activities throughout the course of the year. St. Peter’s enters teams in the Group 4 League for competitive play. St. Peter’s Teams compete in selected tournaments throughout the season as well. Our CYO Program provides over 300 children the opportunity to compete in the sport of basketball at their own respective level of talent and interest. Practices and games keep our new gym active 7 days per week during the season. Players improve their skills and grow in community with their peers. They acquire a sense of accomplishment and Christian camaraderie as the season progresses. This program also gives adults an opportunity to serve the parish as coaches and volunteers.
