2025 Spring/Winter Lacrosse Season



2025 FRIENDSWOOD YOUTH LACROSSE REGISRTATION



  • Registration for the Friendswood Youth Lacrosse Spring Season is open to all boys and girls in grades K-8.

  • Practices begin in late November/early December. (Girls start before the boys)

  • All teams will have at a minimum, 2 mandatory practices per week. Coaches may elect to practice more than 2 times a week.
  • 8U (7th & 8th grade) Boys will potentially have a 3rd practice per week with the Men's High School Junior Varsity Team.

  • All teams will have a minimum of 1-2 games per week.
  • Games will be played on primarily on Saturdays. (Some girls games will take place on Sundays)

  • Practice location is 1000 Manison Parkway, Friendswood, TX. 77546
  • Practice takes place in "The Pits".

  • Boys' Games begin in Late January / Early February.

  • Girls' games begin in December.

  • Parental volunteering is NEEDED and HIGHLY encouraged, but an opt out fee is available.



  • All players who wish to play on a team above their age bracket must be approved by the FYLAX board prior to registration. (Playing up)
  • If you wish for your player to play up, please send an email to [email protected] with your request.

IF YOU GET AN ERROR regarding TEAM PLACEMENT (You cant register for the team you think you should be on, or nothing is available for registration):

  • Your player's birthday falls outside of the accepted "USA Lacrosse Age Grouping Chart" range for that grade/team.
  • Please email your player's name, current grade, and date of birth to [email protected]. To ensure fairness and consistency, the FYLAX Board of Directors will review all requests in the same manner, considering each case individually to prioritize fairness, safety, and fair play for all players.

If enough players register in each age, "In-House Games", or an "In-House League" may be stood up to run concurrently with the regular season.
  • Details of the "In-House Games/League" are forthcoming.

-Limited boys and girls equipment is available if needed. (Helmets, Sticks, Goggles, Shoulder pads, Arm pads, Gloves)

IF YOU GET AN ERROR regarding USLACROSSE MEMBERSHIP NUMBER it is either:
  • Membership needs renewal (expires in less than 60 days)
  • Friendswood registration zip code does not match US Lacrosse zip code
