Please note that all RHYW coaches and volunteers who have contact with children are required to submit a background check every two years.  Unless a current background check is on file, neither volunteers nor coaches will be assigned a position within the organization.  The process only takes a few minutes so please click the button below and help ensure that our kids are safe!  Please contact us, [email protected], to help navigate the USAWrestling process.


In addition to background checks, we encourage all volunteers to achieve a base USA Wrestling Copper Certification. Copper Certification is an introduction to the principles of coaching youth wrestling (12 and Under) and is required to coach at some USA Wrestling events.  We recommend this course for coaches, parents, and volunteers with a focus on coaching young athletes to improve your coaching skills in the areas of recruiting and retaining youth athletes in our sport.
