2020 BMSC SUMMER SOCCER LEAGUE
Dates as Follows; July 26, August 2, August 9, August 16 & August 23. 
Time 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
***Times subject to change based off number of players registered due to EPYSA restrictions**

SUMMER LEAGUE OUTLINE



All Players MUST pre-register for this event
Open to 2014 to 2006 Birth year

**Registration closes July 19, 2020**

 Cost is $30/player for all Sessions

  This event is for any soccer player


TEAMS AND ROSTERS
 

1) There will be no set rosters during this event

2) There will be new teams and opponents each game determined at random. 

3) Boys and Girls will be divided into their own groups depending on numbers.

4) No coaching permitted during these sessions.

5) There will be Field Marshalls on each field to help with game play

DIVISIONS AND NUMBERS OF PLAYERS

 
1) Set up will be 4v4
2) Total n
umbers of players will also determine numbers of players per teams and Divisions
***Grouping may be different based on numbers***


PLAYER EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

1) Normal Soccer Attire
2) Shin Guards are Required
3) Soccer Cleats
4) Plenty of Fluids
5) Name on ALL equipment

DURATION OF GAMES AND SCHEDULING

 
1) 24 minute Games
2) 
Each player will play roughly 2 games/session. Total Number of players will determine
3) 
Field Size will be roughly 25 yard v 15 yard fields
4) 
Schedules will be posted by Friday evenings
5)
Players will rotate every 3' for equal playing time each game




GAME PLAY RULES

1) Game starts with drop of the ball in the center of the field
2) No off sides
3) 
No slide tackling, must stay on your feet
4) 
The ball is considered OUT OF BOUNDS when crossing any out of bounds line
5) Play resumes from a kick in from the spot the ball was deemed out of bounds with an indirect kick
6) Corner kick when ball played behind the goal by defensive team
7) 
Players must be 10 feet back during a kick-in (3 steps back roughly)
8) 
 A Goal is score when the ball travels completely into the goal
9) After a goal is scored the game is re-started from the center circle
10) 
All restarts are indirect kicks
11) 
NO Goalie play, all players must be outside of designated goalie arc (3 yards)
12) If there is no ball in the goal arc a player may pass thru the arc. If ball becomes at rest in the goal arc it will be awarded a goal kick
13) If a defender touches the ball inside the goal arc, a goal will be awarded to the opposing team
14) If an offensive player touches the ball in the goal arc, a goal kick is awarded to the defensive team
15) 
Shots on goal beyond half field or from out of bounds, did not count 
16) Shots from beyond half field which go into goal will be awarded to defending team at center circle by Indirect kick
17) Shots from out of bounds into goal prior to offensive player touching ball, ball is awarded to defending team at same spot

SCORING SYSTEM
1 point per goal
2 point for assist
3 points for team shut out
2 point team win
1 point for tie


**Only top 3 scores weekly will be counted towards prizes (may play more games depending on attendance)
