8U Rules

·       10 on the field

·       Bat the lineup (11 girls)

·       11-inch balls

·       35 feet pitching distance

·       5 runs/inning

·       Coach can instruct from the mound

·       Coach must start from the rubber, must move out of defense’s way

·       5 pitches (if 5^th is foul, battle until they strike out or get a hit)

·       No stealing, ball must pass plate

·       75-minute time limit, finish the inning

·       No outs between home and 1^st (judgement call)

·       Stop lead runner to kill the time not throwing it to the pitcher

·       Courtesy runner for catcher

·       No coaches allowed on the field on defense

10U Rules

·       10 on the field (minimum of 8)

·       Bat the lineup (11 girls)

·       11-inch balls

·       35 feet pitching distance

·       7 runs/innings (10U-14U)

·       Pitchers cannot pitch more than 9 innings in 2 consecutive games

·       Runners can advance on the release

·       75-minute time limit, finish the inning

·       No drop 3^rd strike

·       Infield fly in affect

·       Starting pitcher can return if she is still on the line up and re-enters in her original batting order (10U-18U)

12U Rules (14-18U except pitching distance & pitching limits-see below)

·       9 on the field

·       Bat 10

·       12-inch balls

·       40 feet pitching distance

·       7 runs/inning

·       Pitchers cannot pitch more than 9 innings in 2 consecutive games

·       90-minute time limit, finish the inning

·       3^rd drop strike (12U-18U)

·       Courtesy can be used by a sub 1^st or the last completed out

·       Starting pitcher can return if she is still on the line up and re-enters in her original batting order (10U-18U)

14U/16/18U

·       43 feet pitching distance

·       No pitching limitations
