This summer JFC Sports is introducing a NEW four day sports camp (K-6th grade) that will run 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily, Monday, July 6th through Thursday, July 9th. This four day action-packed camp will be filled with tons of sports every day, intiative games, fitness, team building , devotion time and more! This camp gives kids the opportunity to learn, play, and grow through a wide variety of sports and activities.

Each day, campers will partake in initiative games and devotion time, as well as rotating through different sports such as soccer, basketball, flag football, kickball, and more. Along the way, they’ll develop fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a positive and encouraging environment. Our staff will focus on creating a balance of instruction, friendly competition, and high-energy games to keep every camper engaged and having fun!

Campers should bring a packed lunch, water bottle, athletic shoes and a great attitude each day! We will do a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities each day, so please wear sunscreen and dress/pack accordingly!

Join us for an unforgettable four days of sports, learning, and fun!

Drop off is 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM and pick up is 4:00 - 5:00 PM each day, inside door #2 in the Portage St. parking lot. We will gather kids in the gym, before splitting into groups.

Weather permitting, on our final day, THURSDAY, July 9th, we will do WATER ACTIVITES outside for the last part of the day, so please pack accordingly. We will send out reminders during the week. Water activities would be things like water balloon toss, water relay races, slip and slide, sprinkler kick ball (NO submerged in water activities).

This is a three day soccer camp for grades K-6th (Grade just finished), featuring a session in June and July. The camps will both run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (with FRIDAY as a rain date, if any of those three days is cancelled due to weather). Camps will be held at Jackson Friends Church on our soccer fields outside.

The cost for either session is $60. Camp includes a snack each day and a JFC Sports souvenir on the final day to take home.

These camps will be held across our main soccer field at Jackson Friends Church. Coaches will work on technical skills with the kids, including dribbling, footwork, passing, shooting, etc. All of the kids will be split up by age to be grouped with kids on their own skill level.

Parents are free to hang out and watch or leave and come back at the end of the timeframe.

BE PREPARED:

We are asking every participant to bring their own water bottle (or your choice of drink). Make sure you put ice in it, because that water will heat up quickly)! You may refill those waters inside if needed. Soccer balls are provided for anyone that needs one. If the weather is extra hot/sunny we will take shade breaks under the pavilion.

2026 Summer Football Camp (July 14 - 16, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

We are excited for our second annual summer football camp, partnering with Coach Marquelo Suel, presented by Your Real Educator Consultants!

Coach Marquelo Suel is a 3x All-Pro QB/WR and former All-MAC wide receiver for the University of Akron. A Biletnikoff Award Watch List nominee, he brings over 10 years of experience coaching youth in football, basketball, and soccer. Known for his high-energy, fundamentals-first approach, Coach Marquelo is passionate about developing athletic skill, confidence, and teamwork in every young athlete he trains.

Football Camp Description 

Athletes will work on route running, catching, footwork, defensive technique, and overall football IQ through drills, mini-games, and team challenges. Open to all skill levels, this camp is designed to build confidence, improve game readiness, and promote teamwork. 

Dates: This is a THREE DAY camp, running July 14 - 16, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM every day (which is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). If we would happen to cancel a day because of weather, Friday, July 17 is our rain date.

Cost: $60 (and includes a snack each day and souvenir on the final day)

What You Need to Bring: Campers are recommended to wear cleats. Bring a water bottle and some energy, we provide the rest!

Jackson Friends Church/ Coach Larry Taylor Summer Basketball Camps 2026

We are excited for our annual Jackson Friends Church/Larry Taylor Basketball summer basketball camps. We had a ton of fun again last summer and we are excited to offer our basketball camps again this summer!

Coventry High School Boy's Head Coach Larry Taylor will direct the basketball camps focusing on the basic fundamentals of passing, dribbling, shooting and most of all team play. Coach Taylor has 30+ years of experience as a head basketball coach (previously with Jackson, Massillon and TCC). Winning numerous coach of the year awards. In his basketball coaching successes he has made two trips to the final four to Columbus Ohio as part of the OHSAA basketball tournament. But his most rewarding experience is watching young players develop into great players and be a success story for life. He is looking forward to seeing all of you at our camps this summer.

Here are the offerings for the summer basketball camps, including the shooting camp for grades 4th-8th: (If your child just finished 3rd grade, you may sign them up for either the K-3rd camps or the 4th and up camps if advanced). These are THREE DAY camps, running Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each session!

What You Need to Bring: Campers should bring a water bottle and some energy, we provide the rest! You may bring your own basketball if you'd like, but we will have plenty available! Water fountain available in gym as well.

On the last day of camp, we will provide a snack/drink for the kids, souvenir and a certificate for completing the basketball camp!

This summer JFC Sports is partnering with Coach Jenna Johnson (from our spring vball league) to put on two-THREE DAY volleyball camp offerings here at Jackson Friends Church.

Jenna earned a full-ride Division I volleyball scholarship to Cleveland State University, where she competed for all four years of her collegiate career. After college, she was recruited to play professionally in Switzerland, spending six years competing at the professional level.

She brings extensive coaching experience, including varsity and junior varsity volleyball, private skill training, and coaching with Jackson Friends youth volleyball in the fall. Her passion is developing confident athletes through strong fundamentals, high-level technique, and a love for the game.

The cost for either three day camp will be $60 and will include a snack each day and a souvenir on the last day of camp. This will be open to be girls and boys, from grades (JUST FINISHED) 3rd through 8th. We will host both camp days at Jackson Friends Church, at 7945 Portage St. NW, Massillon, OH 44646. Camps will take place on two regulation volleyball courts in our gym (enter through Door#2 in the Portage St. parking lot).

Our volleyball clinic is designed to build a strong foundation in a fun, encouraging environment. Each day will focus on age-appropriate skill development including passing, serving, setting, hitting, footwork, and game awareness, while also emphasizing teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship. The participants will be split into two courts, so that they are playing with kids of similar grade and skill level.

The clinics will include drills, skill stations, and game-like activities to keep players engaged and learning at their own pace. Whether your child is brand new to volleyball or looking to improve their skills, this clinic provides a positive space to grow, learn, and develop a love for the game.

We have been building a lot of momentum in our different volleyball clinics and leagues and hope to continue that momentum through the summer and into our fall youth league!

Dates: This is a THREE DAY camp OUTSIDE on our fields (indoor gym back up IF rain), running June 16 - 18, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM every day (which is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Cost: $60 (and includes a snack and souvenir on the final day)
