2026 Pre Team Age 5 to 12 at Birchwood Lake

EARLY BRID registration thru May 15th : Pre Team for students age 5-12, who have not passed the borough's beach test but can swim 25 yards unassisted. LIMITED TO 24 KIDS/SESSION.

These are not beginner swim lessons. If your child cannot pass the 25 yard test, you will be refunded and referred to swim lessons. You will be required to purchase/wear the team bathing suit for competitions if you graduate to swim team.

If you are 12 and under you must have a person 16 years of age or older chaperone you during pre- team practice

Preteam Session A: 5 pm -6 pm
Registration (before May 15th): $350
After May 15th, registration is $400
Note: There is a $3 fee charged by blue sombrero for online registration. Refunds are will be subject to a $25 admin fee.

This registration is for the Dive Team only.
If your athlete plans to participate in both Swim and Dive, do not register separately for both teams. Instead, register for one team and then select the DUAL Swim & Dive Add-On option to add the second team.

  • Dive Team: 5:00–6:00 PM

πŸ‘₯ Eligibility & Supervision

  • Minimum age: 5 years old by June 22, 2026
  • Athletes 13 and older do not need to take the borough beach test
  • Athletes 9 and under must have a chaperone (age 16+) on the beach at all times

All divers are required to purchase a team suit
(Not included in registration fees)

2026 High School Swim & Dive Registration

Registration Requirement
This registration is for Mountain Lakes residents of high school age (including rising 9th graders).
A single registration fee covers participation in both Swim and Dive teams for the summerβ€”no separate registrations or add-ons are needed.

Dual Team Add-On (Swim & Dive) 5th- 8th Grader

Registration Requirement
All athletes must register for at least one team β€” Swim or Dive β€” before participating. Families may add the second team at any time if the athlete wants to participate in both Swim and Dive.
