FCGB and Train Boston are currently part of an exclusive relationship. Our players have access to all Train Boston's facilities at special rates. In addition, Train Boston works with our teams.
This winter Train Boston will be expanding into a new facility in Bedford, MA. called the Edge Sports Center. FCGB has also partnered with this indoor facility offering our players and teams easy access to Train Boston trainers and facilities. In addition to indoor soccer fields, the facility will have open turf designated specifically for training and sport-specific training equipment for our trainers to work with entire teams. Our exclusive deal with Train Boston gives our players a competitive advantage over the rest.

Training Objectives
Each workout begins with a low impact warm-up routine that includes a series of dynamic movements that will help the athlete in 5 major areas: reactivity, stability, injury prevention, power generation, and athleticism. If done correctly, the Dynamic will create better soccer athletes, improving acceleration, deceleration, and sports-performance.
The Strength and Conditioning component will include exercises that focus on generating power, deceleration, acceleration, body weight training, plyometric movement and core strength. Teaching points will include proper mechanics as well as muscle activation to avoid negative stress on the joints, ligaments and tendons. Athletes will learn to develop and unleash their athletic power potential.
Increased speed and endurance is a key objective of training as well. Regeneration is also an important piece of pre-season and in-season conditioning that will be included in all training programs. Proper rest and nutrition are key components addressed, as they are significant factors relating to recovery between training sessions and competition, and correlate to reducing the risk of overuse issues.
