Team Iowa Parents and Players:
I hope this finds you all well under the circumstances and waiting to move forward from last years' awesome campaign concluding with the 2nd place showing at the “Battle of Rocky Top” in Gatlinburg Tennessee. Although we had a tough spring under unprecedented conditions, I hope everyone is ready to begin another exciting run, showcasing nationally, the talent that we have here in Iowa.
Posted here on our website, is the proposed schedule starting with our first non padded tryout on July 12th and concluding with a national tourney in Kansas City December 6th 2020. Please note as always, that our mission is to showcase the elite players in 6th 7th and 8th grades in Iowa. We always strive to bring together a compilation of talented players around everyone’s league season( (we will only come together before and after league seasons not to conflict with those schedules) and to highlight what these players have already accomplished within their league or hometown team. We’re not only looking for the best players, but also talented coaches at each grade level to experience the coming together of the states' best and compete with the nations' best teams and coaches. Although we play to compete at the highest level and represent our state proudly, we also acknowledge the “one of kind” experience for coaches, players and parents.
We are well aware of the fluid situation with Covid and plan on practicing good spacing and sanitizing habits at all try-outs, Sunday night preseason workouts, practices, and games if needed.
