2021 TJF Scholarships Awarded!

There is always a beginning, a first for all members of the Tiger Junior Football family... you can remember the early days when they put on the helmet donning the "V" with full-pads on wrapped in that precious jersey that transformed them into what looked like a football player; filled with the hope that they would face their fears and gain the confidence and skill to BE a football player. What you came to realize through the bumps, bruises and battles is that my boys developed from the inside out into young men within the game. They learned life skills within the framework of a team like no other experience and to this day they point to it as a defining and shaping experience within their best memories made. Tonight two TJF players who persevered and succeeded by becoming a Varsity Valley Tiger Football Player who both finished strong and embodied the founding principles revealed by the acronym on the back of the jerseys... A.C.E. (Attitude - Commitment - Effort) All of these characteristics are choices of the player within their control and this year's scholarships were given to TJF ambassadors of the highest degree: Drew Dunnwald and Matthew Mahoney. Congratulations and thank you for continuing the Championship Character of a Valley Tiger from Junior to SENIORS.
