Summer Sports Camps

DASH Sports is collaborating with Van Meter to bring youth sports camps to the community this summer. DASH Sports is a sports training company whose mission is to offer communities and families well organized, structured and fun skill-based sports programs for kids. DASH Sports is led by people with a passion for youth sports development who have over 25,000 hours of coaching experience.

Full day multi-sport - Jun 8-11 - 9-4pm
T-Ball Tykes 2-3, Jun 8-11 4:45-5:15pm

All camps will be held at the Van Meter Recreation Complex, Van Meter South Gym, and High School track. These will be weeklong camps offered Monday-Thursday. Contact [email protected] with any questions.

Youth Tackle Football - 2026

Van Meter Youth Football is a member of the Raccoon Valley Youth Football League. The members of the league are: Van Meter, Ballard, Earlham, Harlan, Madrid, North Polk, Winterset, West Central Valley, Carroll and Woodward Granger. The RVYFL continues to grow and will continue focusing on providing an equal opportunity for all players to play and learn the fundamentals of football at all levels of play.
